who we are
We are a community group for and by Queer/Trans BIPoC focusing on Peer Mental Health Services, Art, and Activism, with experience ranging from Mental Health Certifications to Master's degrees in Social Work or Counseling Psychology.
what we do
We are a COVID-19 response mental health service project that centers trans/queer Black, Indigenous, and other PoC experiences. We have provided 500+ QTBIPoC with peer-centered mental health couseling, support groups, and mental health events since our inception in March 2020.
What is the
funding for?
SUPPORT DECOLONIZED QTBIPOC WELLNESS
Phase 1 of our project was a six-month COVID-19 response mental health services program. In order to move into our next phase, and show up for our community by continuing the work that we do, we need to raise $300-600k by Spring 2021.
These funds will support Phase 2 of our project, which will provide FREE mental health services for marginalized trans/queer Black, Indigenous, and People of Color for 6-12 months, beginning Spring/Summer 2021.
Hundreds of QTBIPoC in crisis or in need of mental health support have signed up with our mental health services. Your life-saving gift today will help us train and hire peer counselors and continue to provide all of our peer support services for free.
